I'd done the research, etc. And of course I had to browse while waiting on a register to open up. Lo and behold they had a Browning BSS hanging on the wall. Early model, 2 3/4" chambers, SNST, 28" tubes choked full ...Thanks for the input. I've looked into the cz bobwhite but I'm not wild about double triggers... I bought my girlfriend a Tristar Uplander in 20 gauge last year and I found it quite comfortable and functional (not forgetting to mention attractive). The bristol is more money so was just seeing if anybody could give me a quick review.You could look at the CZ Sharptail. I bought a CZ 1012 last spring as a duck and spare sporting clay gun. It points nice with a good 60/40 spread. Very happy with it, has not failed to cycle a single shell (its probably had about 2500 go through it so far) with somewhat lackadaisical cleaning.
