Yeah, I actually only do observer mode for EU4, and focus on setting up a narrative for Vic 2, then I usually heavily play Vic 2 and pick a good game/scenario to finish out in HOI4. Trouble is - whatever landmarks we have available (mainly rivers, those are worth their weight in gold) are in Vic3 mostly absent or drastically changed.
