Until you get storm armor, always use tanky armor and goggles. Super heavy chestplates, maybe an f6 carry for necromancer armor, and get the highest level goggles you can. Weapon wise spirit sceptre will carry you till f7, where a yeti sword or preferably a midas staff will get you through.
