I'm looking hard at the Workhorse 1975 (might even get the trailer version). I've looked at a lot of brands such as Millscale and Fatstack that cook even without tuning plates. Check out the Workhorse Pits Fans Facebook group. I found all the answers to my questions already posted there in prior posts. I just ordered 1975. I figured the price difference wasn't big enough to risk a decision I might regret later. Another factor may be the door weight. Apparently the door isn't that much heavier on the 1975.
